About the Author

"If I were ever asked, "what is the one thing that I have built my life upon?" My answer would be, "God, and my hope for eternal life through Jesus Christ my Savior."

I have loved God all my life. I remember as a young child wanting nothing more than to live in God's house forever. God's Word is the source of my strength and my greatest joy. Throughout life, God has faithfully been my Shepherd - even when I was not faithful. His love, forgiveness and guidance has brought me through many bitter disappointments, trials, and failures.

Of all of my life's journeys walking through the terminal illness of my twin daughters was perhaps the hardest and most spiritual. God stripped me down to the bare bones of life, where faith itself was my very breath. He taught me many lessons but the greatest lesson taught - was that Christ died for me, died for my girls and died for you. What great hope, and what eternal joy we should have as Christians as we take His Light out into a dark world. He has given us the truth and the truth has set us free.
