Let Your Light Shine
Have you felt a little burned out lately? Are you wondering where your zeal to help others has gone? Or perhaps you are searching for deeper, more meaningful relationships with your sisters in Christ?
Christ calls us to be lights in this dark world. We are like a Light House showing the way to those God has put into our lives.
As Christians we are to be lights in a dark world. Christ says in Matthew: "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16 NIV
What does this mean to our everyday lives?
- Let Your Light Shine focuses on the awesome calling of Christian women to be God's lights, sisterly encouragers, and nurturers of others.
- The first session asks and answers the questions:
- What does God want of us individually and personally?
- What does God want of us as a part of the body of Christ?
- Part two focuses on:
- How we as Christian women can truly encourage each other - on a deep, personal, and meaningful level.
- How we can recognize and fight the deceitfulness of sin which so effectively dims our lights.
